What Would I Want? Sky.

School has been over for weeks now and things could not be going more smoothly...which I almost am scared to say because my vacation has actually been going great. I am up by my work place to work until June 3rd before I go to BONNAROO! My grades were OK this semester, I actually did a little better than I thought I would have given my small period of giving up and considering just working full time. I even passed my PRAXIS exam; the one I need to not only graduate but required for me to get my certification in teaching. I have been working full time, since finals week, and love it. Working at a daycare is quite rewarding with all the little tykes I get to work with. Everyday I encounter an abundant amount of kids aging from infant to 6 year olds in kindergarten. Today's temp got up to 90s and while I love the heat, it is hard being dressed professionally and having to play with the kids outside. I mean black pants ands crop jacket only look good for so long until you have a heat stroke ha. After next week, I will be back home preparing for the music fest and after that I will be home for good until fall semester. I look forward to babysitting my nephews and having the freedom of not worrying about deadlines for papers and various projects.
I wish you the warmest rays of sun if you are somewhere cold, and if you are somewhere enjoying the heat like me... grab a glass of lemonade and relax.

No I am not celebrating this glorious holiday...too much work to do. BUT I did want to show my recognition for said day with an array of photos inspired by 420.

April Fools (I didn't play any pranks)

Oh how I love a good Sunday night... avoiding my homework assignments that I REALLY need to finish by tomorrow, and watching "trash television" on Bravo. I just ate some Marie Calendar microwaveable dinner, cheese stick, pistachio nuts, big bowl of cereal and a few grapes and I am STILL hungry! What is wrong with me? Boredom is a terrible thing for my diet lol. This weekend was pretty uneventful, which is the way I like it. Friday just hung out with the beau, last night a few people came over to his place and had a fun night of hanging out/jamming/girl session with all the ladies in the kitchen, and today went to church, ate breakfast with a friend (omelet sooo good) and just chilled out at the beau's house all day rolling around in bed watching TV. Such a bum lifestyle, I have to admit I will miss this moments of college, time is such a flexible thing when you know you can stay up till 2 and still make it through the next day ok. This week I am getting my Bonnaroo ticket I have finally decided I am going WOO WOO, 4 day music festival of dirt and swagga ha I'm sure it'll be fun and I keep finding that random people I know are going so that's pretty cool. I'm off to try and do my homework (but not really end up doing it till maybe midnight) March came and went soo fast, hoping this last month of school does the same :)

Float On

Back to school, so many projects coming up, I cannot WAIT till summer break. March is such a weird month with up and down weather, any bit of sun that shines is much appreciated. Spring break went by fast but it was great seeing friends from home and actually getting out of the house. Currently recovering from a cold... some bug has been going around. Still clueless about exactly what I want to do for grad school, just know that I wanna go and eventually get out of PA. Ha it's crazy to think I am almost done my third year of college; just a few years ago I thought college seemed impossible, like this phase of life where I would be super stressed and bogged down with unmanageable assignments. I still get stressed but I have conquered the basics; I know what works for me and how to achieve my academic goals. Now just chilling with my beau...enjoying the last bits of Saturday.

Travels to Mecca and beyond

PHEW I have been quite the absentee from this... so much has happened in the last month. Update later...here's some eye candy for now, along with the first photo ever taken by my new digital camera (the gift giver is next to me)! Yea, many outfit photos ready for posting thanx to the lovely gift. I am currently on my spring break for the next week, so I hope all of you are enjoying any bit of relaxation time you are getting because I am excited for a full week of it :)
